Democratic Senator Mary Landrieu failed in her attempt to get the US Senate to pass a bill that would authorize the construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline. The American Civil Liberties Union of Louisiana says an East Baton Rouge school bus driver detained and harassed a student because he thought the 16-year-old was gay. Executive Director Marjorie Esman says they’ve asked the East Baton Rouge School System to educate their employees, including bus drivers, that it’s illegal to harass a student based on sexual orientation or religion…
