Police in Plaquemine say a 19-year-old allegedly shot and killed his grandmother when a gun went off by mistake. Police Chief Kenny Payne says Blaise Horton was reportedly unloading the weapon when it fired, striking 67-year-old Kathleen Fulton, and a dog next to her. LSU says three people were injured today after the Paul M. Hebert Law Center caught fire. They believe the three were electrical workers hurt when the blaze was started possibly by a high voltage wire.
