A Mandeville man has been arrested for allegedly blocking off the exit of a subdivision and holding two teens at gunpoint because they toilet papered his house. Police Chief Gerald Sticker says homeowner Craig Scott unjustifiably took matters into his own hands…:

Scott faces charges of aggravated assault and obstruction of a roadway.

Police in Plaquemine say a 19-year-old allegedly shot and killed his grandmother when a gun went off by mistake. Police Chief Kenny Payne says Blaise Horton was reportedly unloading the weapon when it fired, striking 67-year-old Kathleen Fulton, and a dog next to her. Payne says the sister was home at the time in another room..:

LSU says three people were injured today after the Paul M. Hebert Law Center caught fire. They believe the three were electrical workers hurt when the blaze was started possibly by a high voltage wire.
