Landrieu thinks this US Senate race should not come down to party affiliation, but the experience and ability to get the job done…

Landrieu has challenged the congressman to six debates before the election. Cassidy has aggreed to one debate on December 1st.

Nearly $2 million in planned television ads supporting Senator Mary Landrieu in her runoff bid against Congressman Bill Cassidy is being cancelled by The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. Political analyst Clancy Dubos says political pundits predicted $50 million would be spent on this election, and this is only 4-percent of that total. Dubos says this move is not a death blow to Landrieu, but it still hurts…

Dubos says this runoff could be difficult for both candidates because voter turnout is traditionally very low in runoff elections.

Once again, Louisiana is expected to have a nice weather weekend with temperatures running a few degrees below normal for this time of year. State Climatologist Barry Keim says a cold front moved through the state yesterday bringing some much needed rain…

Keim says high temps will be in the 60s across the state today with weekend lows dropping into the 40s. He expects afternoon highs to be in the 60s to near 70 all weekend.
