The Opelousas Police Department has arrested a man accused of buying votes for certain candidates in the November 4th election. 64-year-old Wilfred Young is charged with bribery of voters. Sergeant Jody White says two people have come forward with tips and they’re still trying to determine exactly how many people were offered money for a vote…:

Democratic Senator Mary Landrieu hopes Governor Bobby Jindal’s endorsement of Bill Cassidy will hurt the Republican in December’s US Senate runoff election. She says she looks at Jindal’s endorsement as a black eye for the Cassidy campaign, based on how the governor has led the state…:
