The first police report on Gruver’s death was released by LSU-PD and indicates the freshman was found unresponsive at the fraternity house, then later pronounced dead at a hospital.

The Lafayette Police Department says a 25-year-old man allegedly shot and killed his father. The victim is identified as 48-year-old John Adams. The suspect, Damarkus Adams, is under arrest on the charge of Second Degree murder.

A Breaux Bridge Police officer is under arrest for allegedly having sexual interactions with a 16-year-old. State Police is investigating and Master Trooper David says it’s a shame when LSP has to arrest someone sworn to protect the public…:

29-year-old Craig David is charged with carnal knowledge of a juvenile, computer aided solicitation of a minor and malfeasance in office.

Tomorrow is “Clean Out Your Freezer Day” organized by the ‘Hunters for the Hungry.’ Hunters are encouraged to donate their meat from last year before
