The state Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control suspends the license of Reggie’s Bar near the LSU campus following a sting operation by Baton Rouge Police. Sgt. L’Jean McKneely says officers patrolled Tigerland after learning fights were taking place in the parking lot.

Plastipak Packaging announces its adding production lines at its manufacturing facility in Pineville. Plastipak makes plastic containers for food, beverage and consumer products. The state’s economic development office says the company’s 15 million dollar investment will result in over 30 new direct and indirect jobs.
