LSU Health New Orleans has made a plan to reduce cancer deaths in Louisiana over the next five years. Williams says Louisiana is currently ranked fourth in the nation for deaths from cancer.

A day after Baton Rouge Police announced nearly 40 arrests on charges ranging from underage drinking to fighting, a popular Baton Rouge bar near LSU has had its liquor license suspended. It says Reggie’s may still be open, but they won’t be allowed to serve any alcohol. The Tigerland establishment was where cops conducting a sting which resulted in the arrests.
