A 23-year-old Jeanerette man has been arrested in connection with the disappearance and death of 75-year-old Howard Poche. The elderly man was reported missing on Christmas day. Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Captain Richard Fleming says Jeffery Marks was taken into custody this morning.

It’s been reported that Poche’s body was found in a trash can at his home.
