Police say a man in St. Tammany Parish who allegedly went on a date with a woman he met online before tying her up and trying to kidnap her is reportedly in custody. They indicate after the victim called for help, authorities began a pursuit that went across the Causeway and ended with 41-year-old Christopher Garcy crashing in Avondale and getting into a standoff with cops before he was apprehended.
