The chief aide to US Senate candidate David Duke’s campaign has resigned. Mike Lawrence told the Baton Rouge Advocate that the two disagreed over how Duke should present his past as Imperial Wizard of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, but Duke refused to downplay it. Duke’s campaign has not done well according to several polls that show him with little support…most in the single digits.
