Governor Bobby Jindal is spending yet another weekend visiting key presidential campaign states. Even though poll numbers don’t show Jindal getting a lot of support against other Presidential hopefuls, LSU Political Science Professor Robert Hogan says it’s still early:

Jindal is in New Hampshire today then Saturday returns to Iowa.

The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s office says three baggage handlers are under arrest accused of stealing expensive electronics and guns from luggage leaving New Orleans’ Louis Armstrong International Airport. They say the suspects were eventually tracked down after it was discovered a stolen MacBook had been pawned at a shop in Jefferson Parish. The suspects are 22-year-old Neishel Santana, 19-year-old Derrin James and 23-year-old Romalice Honeycutt.

US-Senator David Vitter isn’t hiding the fact that he’s glad to see Attorney General Eric Holder step down. When it came down Thursday, Vitter tweeted almost right away that it was welcome news…:

Vitter says Holder also tried to release personal information of Louisiana voters and has overall been a complete disaster.

The ruling that a ban on same sex marriage violates the constitution is suspended now after the Office of the Attorney General in Louisiana filed an appeal Thursday. That means this issue is headed to the state Supreme Court.
