State Police believe the shooter that killed three law enforcement officers and injured three others planned his attack. Major Doug Cain say 29-year-old Gavin Long of Kansas City stationed himself along Airline Highway in Baton Rouge to inflict pain on law enforcement….

We have found out that Long had an extremist persona online. There are social media posts that show had him discussing the demonstrations seeking justice for the death of Alton Sterling. In a YouTube posting on July 10th, Young says protesting Sterling’s death will not work and suggested violence instead.

Young lived in Kansas City and he’s a former Marine. He turned 29-years-old on the day of the shootings.
