You can register or change your party affiliation at your local registrar of voters office until 4:30 today or do it online at geauxvote-dot-com until midnight tonight.

The Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office says 18-year-old Andrew Jacob Wallace is charged with second degree murder in the stabbing death of Dylan Kyle Poche. Captain Tony Moran says says Wallace was arrested shortly after the stabbing because he fled the scene in a vehicle and was followed by relatives of Poche….

NPSO has also arrested 18-year-old William Holman and 18-year-old Kristine Woodall in connection with Poche’s death.

State Police has arrested a former police officer after they found he was paid for working for two police departments at the same time. Their investigation discovered, that on several occasions, 47-year-old Joseph Johnson was on-duty simultaneously for both the Bunkie and Cottonport Police Departments. Johnson was subsequently paid by both departments for those hours. Johnson is charged with malfeasance in office and 30 counts of public payroll fraud.
