Today marks the end of the 2015 Atlantic Hurricane season and it was a good one for Louisiana as no storms threatened the state. Eric Gill reports…:

The New Orleans Police Department says Napoleonville State Senator Troy Brown was arrested over the weekend for allegedly punching a woman in the face. They say the alleged battery occurred following the Bayou Classic at a New Orleans hotel as the victim waited for an elevator. Brown has stated he does not remember what happened, but he is very remorseful about the situation.
