The all-male New Orleans dance crew, the 610 Stompers, are in New York City today to appear in the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade. This is the second time the Stompers have marched in the parade, their first appearance was in 2011. Normally, the parade limits marching groups to one parade appearance every five years. However, the “ordinary men with extraordinary moves” were granted an exception to that rule.

Lafayette Congressman Charles Boustany has been chosen to lead the Ways and Means Committee’s Tax Policy Subcommittee. Boustany says he’s going to lead the effort in tax reform. He says it’s time to totally rewrite the tax code by simplifying and cleaning up the rates and keeping businesses in America…

Boustany says he will enact changes to benefit small businesses.

With Black Friday tomorrow, the personal finance website WalletHub found holiday spending is estimated to reach more than 630-billion dollars this year. Website spokesperson Jill Gonzales says they investigated which stores were having the best Black Friday deals.

Gonzales says the average discount across the board is about 40-percent off.
