One of the Marksville officers involved in the shooting death of a 6-year-old boy and injuring of his father, is reportedly set to be released on a million dollars bond tomorrow. Apparently 23-year-old Norris Greenhouse Jr.s’ dad is securing property to come up with the bond. Greenhouse and Derrick Stafford are each charged with second degree murder in the fatal shooting of 6-year-old Jeremy Mardis.

You’ve probably noticed we’re dealing with a major mosquito problem in Louisiana right now, even this far into November. Colby Colona, President of the Louisiana Mosquito Control Association, says blame the weather..:

She urges folks to protect themselves from mosquitoes until things really start to cool off. Colder temperatures are expected to move in over the next several days.

During the LBP debate last night, things got heated toward the end with Democrat John Bel Edwards calling Republican opponent David Vitter a liar and a cheater, and Vitter accusing the West Point graduate of not living by the Honor Code. LSU Political Science Professor Robert Hogan doesn’t feel there was a “winner” of the debate, but this bickering will continue..:
