State Police say there was no gun found in the vehicle involved in the death of a 6-year-old who was fatally shot multiple times as city marshals in Marksville opened fire on the SUV he was riding in. The incident happened November 3rd. State Police Col Mike Edmonson…:

As of Thursday afternoon, Edmonson said nobody involved in the incident had been interviewed yet and the investigation is ongoing.

State Police has a man is in custody accused in the fatal hit and run crash that caused an 18-wheeler to crash through the guardrail on I-10 and into the Pearl River near the Mississippi line. They believe 25-year-old Daniel Coy of Gulfport was in the at-fault vehicle and he was apprehended today in Mississippi and when he gets back to Louisiana will be charged with Negligent Homicide, Reckless Operation of a Motor Vehicle, and Felony Hit and Run.

Former Governor Mike Foster says he is strongly supporting Vitter. He says the idea that the national Democratic Party would have an inroad to our state if John Bel Edwards is elected, scares him…:
