38-year-old Aaron Moreau of Pollock was arrested Thursday for alleged fishing contest fraud by placing over two and a half pounds of led weights into a fish used for weighing at the Big Bass Splash tournament. Wildlife and Fishery agent Dustin Nash.

Tournament officials notified state wildlife officials and when they arrived, Moreau fled the scene. Fishing contest fraud brings up to a $3,000 fine and up to one year in jail.
