The St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office says a New Roads man committed suicide after accidentally killing his brother. A witness told investigators that 27 year-old Joshua Miller was playing with a handgun when he pointed it at his brother; 25 year-old Jeremiah Miller, and pulled the trigger. Authorities say it does not appear to been an intentional act for Joshua to kill Jeremiah.
