Lawmakers decided at midnight Thursday to head back to the Capitol for an override veto session scheduled to take place at noon on Tuesday. House Speaker Clay Schexnayder says it will take a two-thirds vote in the House and Senate to override any of the governor’s vetoes…

Twelve members of the Senate and 31 members of the House voted to cancel the override veto session. The override veto session is scheduled to take five days.

University of Louisiana at Lafayette celebrates its 125th anniversary today.
