Governor Bobby Jindal’s campaign announces they’ve raised about $579,000 in his first week as a Republican presidential candidate. ULM Political Science Professor Joshua Stockley says Jindal will spend much of his money in Iowa, South Carolina, and New Hampshire…:

The 76-year-old Huey P. Long Medical Center in Pineville is now on the National Register of Historic Places. Pineville Mayor Clarence Fields says it’s a worthy designation for a building that’s meant a lot to the people of central Louisiana…:

Governor Bobby Jindal is now asking the Inspector General to get involved in an investigation into allegations that Planned Parenthood is selling body parts from aborted fetuses. Jindal has made a request to I-G Stephen Street’s office to investigate whether Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast, which is currently building an abortion clinic in New Orleans, is involved in the illegal harvesting and trafficking of human body parts.
