An Orleans Parish criminal court judge rules that the jury in the Cardell Hayes murder trial will be sequestered. Hayes is accused of killing former-Saints player Will Smith after a car accident on April 9th. The critically injured East Baton Rouge Parish deputy shot in a July ambush has been moved to a state-of-the-art rehab hospital in Texas. Deputy Nick Tullier was one of six officers hit during the attack in Baton Rouge on July 17th that claimed the lives of three other cops. Wednesday morning, Tullier received a police escort to the airport in Baton Rouge where he was taken to TIRR Memorial Hermann in Houston — one of the nation’s leading rehabilitation hospitals.
