The Shreveport Police Department says a crash in west Shreveport killed two men and left two others recovering from serious injuries. They say it appears a vehicle left the roadway and flipped several times claiming the life of the 20-year-old driver and a 17 year old passenger. Two others were taken to a hospital. The cause of the crash remains under investigation at this time.

A new CNN survey, conducted between June 26 and June 28, shows Governor Bobby Jindal at 2% in the Republican Presidential poll which is up from 1%. A search is underway for at least two suspects involved in an altercation with a State trooper in which one fired at the cop and injured him then fled the scene about five miles south of Alexandria.. The trooper returned fire. Troopers have updated the description of the vehicle they are looking for. It’s an ’80s Cheveolet Caprice, grey in color, red tape over the right tail light and a marijuana leaf hanging car freshener.
