Louisiana State Police say a woman from Arkansas died in a Union Parish crash that also seriously injured an occupant from northeast Louisiana last night. They say 59-year-old Thomas Bates of Monroe veered off Highway 15, crashed and flipped. Investigators say both Bates and passenger 26-year-old Donyalle Harris of Crossett Arkansas were not buckled up and were ejected. Harris was pronounced dead at the scene and Bates remains hospitalized with serious injuries.

The lawsuit claims the President’s action violated the “Take Care Clause” of the Constitution which limits the scope of presidential power. In a statement, Governor Bobby Jindal says Congress should work together to secure the border and what the president did is wrong.
