The Saints will not have All-Pro receiver Michael Thomas for a fourth straight game tonight as he’s not playing because he reportedly punched teammate C-J Gardner Johnson at practice on Saturday. Thomas was listed as questionable because of an ankle injury, but in the latest injury report, it said Thomas was out and the reason was not related to an injury.

Tonight’s game against the Chargers has an interesting quarterback matchup. You have Drew Brees for the Saints, who is 41-years-old, while Los Angeles has a rookie quarterback in Justin Herbert, who is 22-years-old. In Herbert’s last game against the Bucs, he completed 80-percent of his passes for 290 yards and three touchdowns.

Elsewhere in the NFC South, Carolina is a surprising three and two after beating the Falcons 23–16. The Falcons are 0-5 and Owner Arthur Blank has fired General Manager Thomas Dimitroff and Head Coach Dan Quinn.

A wild high school football game took place last night at Eddie Robinson Stadium in Grambling as Ruston defeated Neville in three overtimes 38-35. The Tigers led 21-0 at halftime and in the first overtime, Ruston scored on fourth and goal from the 45-yard line on a hail mary pass.

Tulane blew a 24-7 lead and lost to Houston last night 49-31. The Cougars outgained the Green Wave 476 to 211 as the Greenies defense scored two touchdowns in the first quarter, but the offense struggled all night long.

The franchise was considering evacuating to Indianapolis because of Hurricane Delta, but the Athletic reports the Black and Gold have decided to prepare for their Monday night matchup against the Chargers at their training facility in Metairie. That means the game will be played in the Superdome, but Mayor Latoya Cantrell has said no fans.

Because of Hurricane Delta, LSU will go on the road and visit Missouri for an 11 AM kickoff on Saturday. First-year Mizzou Coach Eliah Drinkwitz looks forward to the challenge of hosting the defending national champs…

LSU’s football game versus Missouri this Saturday will reportedly be moved from Tiger Stadium because of Hurricane Delta. It’s being reported the game will be played at 11 AM at Missouri and an official announcement could be made this morning. Mizzou moved into the SEC in 2012 and this will be the Tigers’ first trip to Missouri’s home field since joining the league.

A break out star on LSU’s defense this season has been junior college transfer Ali Gaye, who has emerged as the Tigers best pass rusher. Gaye transferred in from Garden City Community College and says coaching has allowed him to take his game to a different level…
