A Washington Parish man faces life in prison after being convicted for the aggravated and attempted rape of three underage girls. 18-year-old Bradley Jenkins of Bogalusa was found guilty of raping two girls, ages 10 and 7, and the attempted rape of a 5-year-old. The 1st Circuit Court of Appeal agrees that Governor Bobby Jindal can’t do away with testing contracts tied to the controversial Common Core Education Standards. Jindal suspended the contracts last year saying they weren’t properly procured but a district judge lifted the suspension and this week the appeals court upheld that ruling.
