Quarterback Anthony Jennings, cornerback Dwayne Thomas, and defensive lineman Maquedius Bain were booked on unauthorized entry into an inhabited dwelling charge. Thomas is also charged with simple burglary. Authorities say the three claim they were trying to retrieve items previously stolen from Jennings. Defensive tackle Trey Lealaimatafao is charged with simple battery and felony simple robbery stemming from an incident at a local bar. Team officials say the two incidents are not connected.

A Calcasieu Parish grand jury has indicted a former Lake Charles Charter Academy teacher for allegedly having inappropriate contact with students. 35-year-old Sommer Odom faces four counts of oral sexual battery, three counts of molestation of a juvenile, and one count of sexual battery. If convicted, Odom faces up to 80 years in prison.
