The horror film “The Exorcist: Believer” made 27-million dollars at the Box Office this weekend. Saw-X is another horror thriller that’s at the movie theaters as part of the run-up to Halloween. When it comes to the best age for young people to watch a scary movie, Chair of Psychiatry at LSU Health New Orleans Doctor Rahn Bailey says it’s a matter of emotional maturity not necessarily a number when it comes to age.

A football game at Thibodaux High School ended suddenly last night after Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s officials received reports of gunshots in the area. Following the reports of shots fired, there was a medical incident involving one of the players. But authorities say the two incidents were unrelated and there were no injuries to anyone at the football ame related to the shots fired. At this point, Sheriff’s officials say no crime scene has been found and no victims identified.

The 23rd-ranked LSU Tigers look to bounce back from last week’s close loss when they meet Missouri in Columbia this morning. LSU has struggled, allowing a school-record 706 yards of offense last week. Kelly says if they get better play from the defensive line, the entire defense will benefit… (:18)
