With just over a week to go before election day, there is still a lot of uncertainty looming in the two big Congressional races. Michelle Southern reports…

The man who died at Tiger Stadium towards the end of LSU’s dramatic 10-7 win over Ole Miss has been identified as 59-year-old Brian Tingley of Plaquemines Parish. East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner Doctor Beau Clark says every effort was made to resuscitate Tingley….

He says Tingley died from complications related to cardiovacular disease.

The November 4th primary election is next Tuesday and polls still show a considerable amount of undecided voters. Political analyst Bernie Pinsonat says you can expect both Democrats and Republicans to concentrate on their “ground game” and “get out the vote” strategies. He says these are being discussed as “game changers”, but Pinsonat isn’t so sure about that…

Pinsonat says, at this point, candidates kind of throw most undecideds out the window since they are unlikely to vote.

Louisiana State Police say a head-on collision in Assumption Parish has taken the life of a 10-year-old girl and sent three others to the hospital. Authorities say Neveah Pierson of Gray was killed when the vehicle she was traveling in crossed the center line and struck another car yesterday afternoon. The driver, 31-year-old Sommer Pierson, Naveah’s mother, and another passenger are hospitalized with moderate injuries. The driver of the other vehicle also received moderate injuries. The investigation is ongoing, although authorities do not suspect impairment to be a factor.
