A judge denies a motion to lengthen the sentence of former DeRidder Mayor Misti Roberts, who was found guilty of having sex with an underage boy. Jeff Palermo has more.

The Louisiana Department of Corrections is facing a lawsuit over keeping people behind bars too long. Promise of Justice Initiative Attorney Cecelia Kappel says prisoners being held past their scheduled release dates is far too common.

Legendary LSU football player turned NFL All-Pro and then LSU football coach Jerry Stoval has passed away.  The two-time All-SECer was selected in the first round of the 1963 NFL Draft by the St. Louis Cardinals and played nine years in the NFL.  In a 2009 interview with KNOE-TV, Stovall credited his upbringing for his success.
