Entergy reports that, as of early this morning, over 24,000 customers are without power in north Louisiana. Officials say it may be Thursday night before all power is restored.

Fire officials report that two people are dead after an early morning trailer fire today in Thibodaux. The cause of the fire is under investigation. The names of the victims will not be released until notification of family.
