One of the big storylines in U.S. House qualifying so far is a certain someone who HASN’T put his hat in the ring yet. Andrew Greenstein reports.

A Shreveport man was arrested on thousands of counts of child pornography. 61-year-old Jeffrey Lambing faces over four thousand counts related to child sexual abuse material after Shreveport Police probed multiple electronic devices. If charges hold, it could be one of the largest child sexual abuse material cases in Louisiana history.
Louisiana Tech and LSU Health Shreveport signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a partnership for research and student training. The agreement will help the institutions advance discovery, innovation and economic growth in North Louisiana. Louisiana Tech Interim Vice President for Research Dr. Bala Ramu Ramachandran says it will help them compete for federal and private funding.

Applications for the Louisiana Black Bear Hunting Lottery are open. To apply for one of 42 available tags, you will need a black bear hunting license and a 50-dollar application fee. LDWF Large Carnivore Program Manager John Hanks says there’s a set of designated black bear hunting areas across the state.
