After a lengthy debate over Bossier City Representative Mike Johnson’s religious freedom bill, the House Civil Law Committee overwhelmingly voted to return the bill to the calendar, essentially killing it for the session. After the vote, Governor Bobby Jindal issued an executive order that will do the same thing as the bill.
