The monster will be mashing in Baton Rouge for one more season. Steven “Monster” Milam has removed his name from the MLB Draft and will return to LSU for his senior season. Glen West with On3-dot-com says Milam’s decision wasn’t just financial – he wanted to play for Jay Johnson for one more season.

In a social media post released by LSU, Milam, who was a major contributor to the 2025 national championship team, says he wants to win another national title in Purple and Gold.

At the College World Series yesterday, Ole Miss lost for the first time in the NCAA Tournament, falling to North Carolina six to two. West Virginia is headed to the winner’s bracket after topping Troy seven to five.

Great start for the U-S Men’s soccer team in the World Cup as the stars and stripes defeated Paraguay four to one last night in Los Angeles. It is the United States largest World Cup win since 1930. The next match for the U-S is Friday afternoon against Australia.

Will Wade has officially signed his first four transfers. One of the new additions is Abdi Bashir (OBB-dee- BUH-sheer), a lengthy senior shooting guard, who averaged over 13 points a game for Kansas State last season. TJ Brown with The Advocate says he is a pure sharpshooter.

ULM softball coach Molly Fichtner signed a contract extension to stay with the Warhawks through 2029. She has won back-to-back Sun Belt Coach of the Year honors.
