LSU will not be kicked out of the SEC and there’s a good chance a federal lawsuit the conference filed against LSU will not move forward. It appears cooler heads have prevailed after LSU made the decision not to add two players that were on NFL training camp rosters last month to their roster. Tiger Rag Editor Glenn Guilbeau says there’s no evidence that LSU or head coach Lane Kiffin broke any rules in this situation and it’s ridiculous that threats were made to kick LSU out of the league…

Shough went five and four as the Saints starting quarterback and averaged 250 passing yards per game and 10 touchdowns.

UL Lafayette goes on the road to face 14th-ranked USC this weekend. The Trojans are 2-and-0 to start the season with blowout wins over San Jose State and Fresno State. Cajuns head coach Michael Desormeaux says USC has one of the toughest defensive lines he’s ever faced, but these are the kind of tests great teams pass.
