Gulf Coast Tactical announced a 6.1-million-dollar expansion to its New Iberia operation. The project will create 137 new job opportunities in the region and enhance the fabrication, assembly, systems integration and testing capabilities for advanced maritime vessels.

Six to ten inches or more of rain is possible this week for much of south and central Louisiana as a result of the approaching potential tropical cyclone one, expected to reach southwest Louisiana tomorrow night.
