ESPN is reporting that LSU star defensive end Princewill Umanmielen received court papers in the parking lot of the team’s practice facility as he’s a defendant in a lawsuit filed by Ole Miss that claims he and fellow LSU Tiger Devin Harper owe Ole Miss close to a million dollars for breaking revenue-sharing contracts. Legal analyst Franz Borghardt on whether the two LSU players actually owe Ole Miss money…
Borghardt says the timing of this was no coincidence as the Tigers and Rebels prepare to square off in a top-10 matchup on Saturday.
Saints rookie tight end Oscar Delp returned to practice with a hamstring injury today while Juwan Johnson sat out with an illness. Defensive end Cameron Jordan was still limited as he recovers from a hamstring injury, but running back Alvin Kamara was a full participant. Head coach Kellen Moore said he feels good about Kamara playing against the Ravens this weekend after being sidelined the last month with an MCL sprain.
LSU’s defense is first in the nation in yards allowed per game, but the Ole Miss backfield of Trinidad Chambliss and Kewan Lacy will be its biggest test this season. Chambliss ran for 71 yards against the Tigers last season and defensive end Princewill Umanmielen says LSU will need to contain him.

The NFL sent out a memo to teams today barring tight end Dae’Quan Wright and defensive tackle Zxavian Harris from visiting, trying out or signing with an NFL team this season. The pair signed NFL contracts during training camp but tried to return to college football after being waived. The league said their commitment and participation at LSU made them ineligible to come back to the NFL this season. They were also left off of the LSU football roster despite winning a preliminary injunction to return to college sports and block the SEC rule preventing their return.
