East Baton Rouge District Attorney Hillar Moore is investigating an alleged rape involving an LSU football player. On TikTok, LSU student Kendall Danielle says the player admitted during a Title Nine investigation to raping her last October. The player, whose name has not been made public, was suspended by LSU for one year but has since been allowed to return to campus.

A Kenner business owner is accused of recording people inside the bathroom of his business. Kenner Deputy Police Chief Mark McCormick says a woman used the bathroom at the business owned by 57-year-old Henry Rios earlier this month and discovered a camera mounted underneath the sink.

A subsequent investigation has so far confirmed three victims, although detectives believe there are many more.

The Louisiana Mid-Continent Oil and Gas Association says Governor Landry’s plan to rein in diesel prices is counterproductive. Joe Gallinaro reports.

State Police detectives are investigating a deputy-involved shooting in Jefferson Davis Parish. According to the preliminary investigation, deputies found a man lying in a ditch behind the gas station he’s suspected of robbing. They say when he charged at them with a knife, a deputy shot the man. The suspect is being treated at a hospital. No deputies were injured.
