A head-on crash on LA Highway 434 killed 74-year-old Milda Capponi of Slidell. Capponi was unrestrained in the front passenger seat of one of the two vehicles that collided while turning into a parking lot. The driver of the vehicle also sustained serious injuries, and the other driver was unharmed.
