Murrill alleges seven Caddo Commissioners violated the law when they privately met to discuss preparing a resolution to welcome U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders to Shreveport in June 2025.

A man and woman from Houma were arrested for allegedly physically and sexually abusing children. Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Deputy Blake Tabor says what’s especially disturbing is that 57-year-old Thomas Tucker passed himself off as someone children could trust and confide in.
