LSU defensive end Princewill Umanmielen is known for sacking the quarterback. He has five of them this season. According to ESPN, he was also served papers today related to the lawsuit filed by Ole Miss alleging that Umanmielen and LSU offensive lineman Devin Harper owe the school close to a million dollars for a breach of contract. Ole Miss says the two signed a revenue sharing contract with them in January, then left for LSU and have not paid a buyout that Ole Miss believes they owe.
ULM welcomes Southeastern Louisiana for its home opener on Saturday. The Warhawks fell to 0-and-2 after losing to UAB 26-20 last weekend. Coach Bryant Vincent says that his team needs to be ready for the Lions this week.
