The US Department of Justice announces it is ending a moratorium on executions and one of the five federal death row inmates that were named by the Attorney General to be put to death is Alfred Bourgeois, a LaPlace man convicted in 2002 of abusing and murdering his two year old daughter. The incident happened in Corpus Christi, Texas. The executions are scheduled to take place at a Federal Prison in Indiana between December 9 and January 15^th.
