The NFL owners have approved a 17-game regular season in 2021. To compensate the NFL reduces the number of preseason games from four to three. The regular season will continue to feature one bye week and adding a regular season means the Super Bowl will be pushed back one week. The 17-game schedule also means the Saints will play the Titans this season.

Every NFL franchise will have a representative on LSU’s campus today for Pro Day as nine former Tiger football players will run the 40 and go through several other drills and workouts for scouts and player personnel officials. LSU is expected to have two players selected in the first round of the upcoming draft, wide receivers Ja’Marr Chase and Terrance Marshall Junior. NFL analyst Mike Detillier on Marshall…

Governor Edwards says that means gyms, bars, casinos, salons, and restaurants can operate without capacity restrictions.

Large indoor venues will still have a 50 percent occupancy cap, but an increased maximum number of guests. Social distancing will still be required at all businesses.

Edwards warns we’re not totally back to normal. For example bar hours can be set by local authorities, but patrons must still remain seated and be served at tables.
