Saturday night’s game between LSU and Alabama is now a Top Ten matchup as the first college football playoff rankings were unveiled last night and Alabama is ranked sixth while LSU is ranked tenth. The Tigers are the highest ranked two-loss team.

When the Bayou Bengals face the Crimson Tide, they will see a familiar face on defense. Bama cornerback Eli Ricks transferred to Tuscaloosa after two seasons in Tiger Town.

The Saints did a lot of things well in a 24-0 win over the Raiders yesterday. The defense did not allow Las Vegas to cross the 50-yard line until there were two minutes left in the game. Running back Alvin Kamara scored three touchdowns and it was another solid outing for quarterback Andy Dalton, who was recently named the starter going forward.
