State Police Superintendent Colonel Robert Hodges says investigators utilized evidence in making their decision.

Cut 3 (14) “…in the crash.”

Murrill says based on her findings, she has not seen any wrongdoing on State Police’s part.

Cut 5 (09) “…from the video.”

The CPSC report shows carbon monoxide entered 105 homes in the days following Hurricane Ida. Pastorick says  anyone thinking about installing a whole home generator to place it at least 25 feet from the home and if you currently have one, consider moving it further from the home if it’s located right next to the house…

Cut 11 (11) “…save lives.”

Pastorick urges homeowners with a stationary generator to have a working carbon monoxide detector. The CPSC report also urges manufacturers to produce generators with engines that emit less carbon monoxide.

But Ory says the Lafourche Parish District Attorney’s Office’s own investigation determined Lacy was over 70 yards behind the cars involved in the crash, therefore too far away for him to be considered responsible.

Ory told ESPN Baton Rouge radio that the evidence released by State Police didn’t change a thing…
