Budget bills have been sent to the House floor after they received approval from the House Appropriations Committee. The proposed spending plan for next fiscal year will contain at least over 200-million dollars in cuts, because the legislature is not expected to replace all of the revenue from temporary taxes that are set to expire on June 30th. A group called the Poor Peoople’s Campaign raised its concerns to the House Appropriations Committee…
