The state department of health has filed a law suit against several opioid manufacturers claiming they are responsible for the escalating opioid crisis. The suit alleges the drug companies fradulently marketed the risks and benefits of prescription opioids. But Legal Analyst Tim Meche says it seems like this is more about trial lawyers trying to make money rather than fight the epidemic….
