The National Hurricane Center is now giving Invest 92 in the southwestern Gulf of America a 90-percent chance of developing into a tropical depression over the next 48 hours. National Weather Service meteorologist Donald Jones says we could see a tropical storm make landfall somewhere between Louisiana and Florida this week. Jones says the potential storm will have to battle with wind shear left over from last week’s cold front as it gets closer to the coast…

State and local officials toured the Hut 8 facility in West Feliciana Parish, which is one of four data centers under construction in the state. Fox Business interviewed Governor Landry and was asked about the concerns that data centers can lead to higher electricity bills for residents and drain the local water supply. Landry says the opponents of data centers are spreading non-factual information.
