Saints head coach Kellen Moore said defensive end Cameron Jordan is receiving further evaluation for a hamstring injury suffered Thursday. The 37-year-old returned for “one final season” in New Orleans this year and posted on X today: “Let’s get to work.”
Saints offensive lineman Dillon Radunz suffered a season-ending torn ACL over the weekend. The 28-year-old started 10 games in his first season with the Saints last year and was the expected first man up behind the starting front.
New Orleans was off today and will host a joint practice with the Jaguars Thursday before the teams face off in their preseason opener Saturday at 3 p.m.
The Saints are hosting former Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold for a visit. The former first-round pick was let go by Detroit in June after he was arrested in Florida on eight felony counts of armed robbery and kidnapping. An arraignment in the case is scheduled for later this week. Arnold has also met with the Seahawks and Texans.
ULM’s Malone Stadium is being renamed to FMOL Health St. Francis Stadium. Warhawks Athletics Director SJ Tuohy says it was important to partner with a local organization committed to building the Northeast Louisiana community.
