Saints legend Drew Brees is set to be enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame alongside running back Roger Craig, linebacker Luke Kuechly, wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald and kicker Adam Vinatieri. Brees says he is looking forward to enjoying the weekend with friends and family

Brees was the MVP of Super Bowl XLIV and threw for over 80-thousand yards and 571 touchdowns in his 20-year career. The induction ceremony in Canton, Ohio begins at 11 a.m. Saturday.
The Saints are signing former LSU linebacker Deion Jones to a one-year deal. The 31-year-old vet is entering his 11th NFL season. Jones went to Jesuit High School before LSU and returns home after stints with every other team in the NFC South.
Ex-LSU wide receiver Barion Brown might just be the MVP of Saints training camp so far. The sixth-round draft pick has wowed as an explosive pass-catcher in Saints head coach Kellen Moore’s offense. Moore praised Brown as a sparkplug for the team and says the 22-year-old has provided a positive attitude and has worked to be really well-prepared.

ULM is renaming its football stadium as part of an expanded partnership with FMOL Health St. Francis. The St. Francis logo will also be featured on jersey patches for all ULM women’s sports. An installation commemorating coach James Malone, the stadium’s previous namesake, will be placed at the stadium’s home entrance.
